WATERMELON, BLACKBERRY AND
LIME SLUSHY
  • Description:

    A healthier take on the ‘slush puppy’. This smoothie (or slushy) just shouts Summer.

  • Ingredients:

    2 cups (500ml) chopped watermelon, frozen

    3/4 cup (190ml) blackberries, frozen

    Zest and juice of 1 lime

    Squeeze of honey, to taste

    Freshly ground black pepper, to taste (optional)

    Few extra black berries, to garnish

  • Method:

    1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until a smooth and slushy consistency.
    2. Adjust seasoning to taste and pour into a long chilled glass.
    3. Season with a grinding or black pepper and garnish with a few extra blackberries just before serving.

    Serves: 1
