• Description:

    Introduce your infant to solids with this naturally sweet tasting carrot and lentil purée with a pleasant texture.

  • Ingredients:

    500g of carrots
    1 cup of lentils

    1 cup water

    Food processor/blender

  • Method:

    1. Trim, peel and cut carrots into 1-inch slices.
    2. Rinse lentils in cold water.
    3. Bring a medium pot of water or broth to the boil and add carrot slices and lentils.
    4. Reduce to a simmer, cover the pot and cook for 25 minutes.
    5. Let it cool.
    6. Purée in a food processor or blender.
